Wagener Sparky - Satisfied Customers

Just writing to let you know we purchased a Sparky for our new wee home last year. We love the style and the amount of heat it puts out is totally adequate for our needs (house is just under 70sq metres).  Also the cooktop is brilliant - way more effective than my last fire.  We are really impressed and happy with it and know that we are going to have one very cosy house this winter!  Thanks for making a great product.

The Wagener Sparky stove is installed on our boat and works brilliantly.

We chose Sparky for our house bus as it is a lovely fire to look at. We are very happy with the heat it chucks out when established and boiling the jug on Sparky would be close if not quicker than on gas.

Enclosed are some photos I have taken cooking on our little Sparky. We have steamed sultana pudding, hamhock vege soup, roast veges and relish. Once again thank you and as you can see from the photos this little guy works a treat. We have used Sparky for all manner of cooking.

My trust has built and maintains 16 hunting huts on Stewart Island. These huts are 6m x 3.6m inside. Last week we built a new hut at Murray River on Stewart Island and we installed a Sparky fire. We found Sparky easy to install and straight forward to operate. It is very efficient, using a small amount of fuel and produces plenty of heat. Compared to your Sparky the Yukon Pot belly stoves we have used in the past are a very poor second.

Just to let you know that I'm very impressed with my Wagener Sparky. It heats up my 1980's built two storey house very quickly and keeps it beautifully warm. It is very economical in regard to wood use and very easy for an older person to manage and clean. I have had several different wood burners in the past and I would say this is the best designed one and the most efficient.

Here is a photo of Sparky installed in my 1920's cottage. We could not be happier with this product. It produces a lovely heat within our 100 square meters cottage.

This is just perfect thank you

 6 years on.......

Back in 2013 My wife Holly and I decided to replace the old 1950 wood-burner for a nice looking but efficient one. All the burners available in the market looked the same and they were / are ugly! until we found Wagener Stoves. We found a little but powerful wood-burner called 'Sparky'.

What we also liked is that they are not mass produced like the common brands. The attention to detail and design of the product and also their customer service is second to none.

I had a bit of a struggle to meet the council requirements as our house was built in the 1920's so Barry sketched the plans of how it should be installed based on the photographs of the cavity.

The whole experience went above and beyond all our expectations. Six years later we are still enjoying very much the 'Sparky'; like the first day.

Thank you Barry, Ngaire and the Team !

We have replaced the old wood stove for a Wagener Sparky, and for the first time my house is warm right through. What a joy to wake in the morning and feel the gentle warmth still lingering. Handy for cooking and really easy to clean. I love it!

Hi there, we just had a Sparky fitted a couple of weeks ago, and I just wanted to let you know how happy we are with it. Sparky really is the perfect wee fire for a well insulated house.

I am so delighted with my Wagener Sparky. It fits my small space perfectly and looks great - but also has such wonderful functionality - it heats the space very efficiently, and I'm not burning through heaps of wood; it's attached to a wetback and heats the water in winter; and I cook on it all the time. I am so glad I got the Sparky and I wouldn't be without it!

I selected and have just had a Sparky installed to replace a larger woodburner that was inefficient.

Two nights in and I have to applaud you on both the excellent design and the amazing efficiency of the fire. It used less than 6 logs a night to heat my 57 sqm house and I even used it to reheat soup and amazingly it went from fridge to boiling in 7 minutes. All this and it looks great in my house.

I am very happy with my "Little Sparky" purchase and installation that has been installed in a little 1950s cottage of 80 square metres down here on the East Coast. It's well constructed, small but very efficient and ideal for that smaller cottage or even a mobile home as well as been an ideal choice for say a pensioner to have installed as its cost effective to operate and less dangerous than a LPG heater with a bottle inside.

The unit is awesome and perfect for our needs, kept our 80 sq. meter cottage in Raetihi warm and toasty during cold nights. Being able to make an omelette for breakfast is a nice added bonus. Anton

My Sparky fire place is in and working well, absolutely LOVE it in the tiny house. Not sure how many of these your shipping across the pond but I'm not surprised at all you have so much interest in the fireplace from Aus.Was only able to have 3m of flue above the sparky but the draw seems to be sweet. Very happy indeed.

It's been such a cold winter in Wellington and it's made me really miserable...BUT...my life has changed thanks to little Sparky. I love it sooooo much. It looks good, fits well, is easy to operate and does the trick to keep us toasty.I love that it is made in NZ..... in Kaitaia particuarly (I'm from the North). I love the colour (blue) and the cheerful look of the flame. I'd happily recommend little Sparky to potential customers.

 Little Sparky doing its thing!

The pies and Cordon Blu's came out great also did steamed broccoli and carrots... it does an awesome job!

The Batch... transportable is "off the grid"  on the west coast we have a gas oven which we don't even use thanks to the Sparky. And the kids love toasting marshmallows as well... can't do that with the heat pump at home!

Hello Barry, Ngaire and the team at Wagener Stoves Kaitaia.

What an absolute pleasure it has been to have dealings with you during the purchase of our "Sparky" heater, an absolutely amazing experience.

From minute one, we received nothing but professional friendly service, in the first instance from Adam who, unlike the majority of "front" people, was only too happy to spend all the time in the world explaining the features of the heater in a concise and easily understood way. At no time did I feel rushed to make a decision and move on, quite the opposite in fact, as he genuinely wanted me to be happy about every detail.

Because I am one that wants to know how everything is put together and what makes it tick, I met the entire team, from Barry & Ngaire to their three sons and all showed the  dedicated professionalism and pride in their product that I had experienced from the moment I walked in the door. All-in-all a truly pleasant experience.

Thank you. Kind regards  Rob & Kim.

Our Sparky has been in now for 1 week and has been on every night since, even if we had to open some windows on occasions. Bella is our rescue dog of 2 months and REALLY loves the new addition. Thank you guys and girls for coming up with the colour option too as it is now a real feature in our little house. Would definitely recommend to anyone who asks.

Please find attached photograph of our newly installed Sparky Fire Place! We absolutely love our new Sparky. We chose Wagener Stoves as  our son installed a Wagener Stove in their new house and have been immensely happy with it. We chose the smaller Sparky which looks fabulous in our lounge, creating a lovely dry warmth that actually infusers the whole house with warm, dry air. The Sparky can be dampered down for continuous warmth during these long cold winter evenings and “sparks” back to life in the morning. We are finding the Fireplace is very economical to run with wood lasting for hours after each feed. Thank you Wagener Stoves and well done on a fantastic Kiwi product. We would have no hesitation in recommending you to friends and family.
